Refund Policy

1. Overview

BeatCheck subscriptions are sold through Paddle.com, which acts as the merchant of record for all purchases. Paddle is responsible for billing, payment processing, and VAT collection. All refund requests are processed by Paddle on BeatCheck's behalf, in accordance with Paddle's buyer terms and applicable consumer protection laws.

2. 14-Day Right to Cancel

Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and equivalent EU consumer protection laws, you have the right to cancel your subscription and receive a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase. This right applies to all first-time subscribers without any conditions.

To exercise this right, contact BeatCheck support at support@beatcheck.app or contact Paddle directly within the 14-day window with your order details.

3. Cancellation After the 14-Day Period

After the initial 14-day period, you can cancel your subscription at any time to stop future billing. Cancellation takes effect immediately, but your access to paid features continues until the end of the current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation.

4. How to Request a Refund

You can request a refund through either of the following channels:

  • Email BeatCheck support at support@beatcheck.app with your order details and reason for the request.
  • Contact Paddle directly through their buyer support portal at paddle.net.

Approved refunds are processed by Paddle back to the original payment method.

5. Subscription Cancellation vs Refunds

Cancelling a subscription and requesting a refund are two separate actions. Cancellation stops future billing — your access continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. A refund is a request for reimbursement of a past payment.

To cancel your subscription, go to Settings → Billing and follow the prompts, or manage your subscription through the Paddle customer portal linked from that page.
